Chelmsford Light Parade – Sunday 27th October 2019 from 6 pm till 8 pm.

This is set to be an unmissable event! With performances from fire artists, shadow puppetry from artists across the UK. As well as some amazing floats and lanterns from across community groups in Chelmsford. We are very proud to invite you to Chelmsford’s Light Parade. We started in 2018 from funding via crowd funding and in 2019 were successful in getting funding from Arts Council England, the Ragdoll Foundation and Big Lottery Funding.

The Light Parade is now set up to be an annual event which we hope will grow and evolve to be an amazing collaborative and creative venture for Chelmsford.

The Light Parade starts from Meteor Way (off of Waterhouse Lane) and ends in the High Street, in the High Street there will be a mixture of activities, shows and food and drink. See you there. The Light Parade Team!

At the end of the Parade there will be amazing performances of: Shadow puppetry and a fire show, Pu jugglers, stilt walking act, “Obby Oss” street theatre and local refreshment stalls.
