Calais Children is a film and live campaign by Sue Clayton. It is a compelling 62-minute film following the scandal of what happened to the almost 2000 lone children who were in the Calais Jungle as it burned down last year – most of whom had a legal case to be in the UK. The screening will be followed by a Q and A session with Sue Clayton. This is a fundraising event, money raised will go towards helping these children and their legal case.
About the Director:
Sue Clayton is a feature and documentary filmmaker. She has worked on various child and youth asylum projects over 15 years, consulting and producing news stories for ITV and BBC. Her award-winning independent film Hamedullah: The Road Home www.hamedullahtheroadhome.com has been screened at over 200 activist and debate events, and is regularly shown in UK Immigration Courts.
