Exploring 100 years of Mental Health – 1919 – 2019

A group of students from different schools across Chelmsford have worked all summer 2019 on this exciting project. They have looked through archives at Essex Record Office and gathered information which has informed the creation of an Animated film.
The film details is aimed at young people, to educate them on how attitutes to mental health have changed.
The Ideas Hub, has teamed up with Artimate to create the film and deliver the workshops for the young people.
A rough cut of the film will be screened at the Cramphorn theatre on the 19th of October.
In November and December second group of students will compose the music for the film.
The final film will then be shown in schools across Chelmsford. Showcasing the 1919 – 2019 story of mental health, local heritage and making young people aware of what to do when they face mental health worries.
